Tysen my nephew.

 Tysen is my nephew he is only 8 months old he is my sister's child I love my nephew Tysen. I love to play with him. Tysen was born with a cleft lip when you were in your mum's stomach your face will connect into your nose but Tyson's didn't connect properly so he had a cut up to his nostril which made him struggle eating now he has stitches. Soon he has to have surgery in his gum because his gum didn't connect properly with his face. <3

Swimming.

At school every morning we go swimming. I Love swimming I love jumping off the diving board and racing my friends in the pool sometimes Beth teach is us how to swim in the shallow bet of the Deep Pool. because Sancira doesn't know how to swim at the deep pool so sometimes we play with her.  

The Boy with wing's.

 Today the 06.08.2021 I went to the Boy with wing's show with my class and 2 other classes but I forgot what other classes was named. The Boy with wing's is a puppet show. first their was a boy named Jack that owned a old Orchard that his grandmother gave to him he owned a bunch of apple trees and sells them at the market but it hasn't been raining were Jack is his trees aren't growing apples anymore because they are dying without any water the closest water is miles away Jack has to walk their everyday but the water wasn't enough to save his Orchard one night Jack fell asleep heard the voice of this grandma say Save your Orchard Jack find your treasure and . Then Jack yelled NANNY!?? Soon Jack decided to start his adventure which from a bunch of places like the ocean and the fog Sandy place then he went off into the village searching for the boy with wings so he got taken to jail for snooping around then he made friends of the rat and then he overheard the queen and the night talking about their dreams the night said that he had a dream about a boy who tried to find his treasure but it was at an orchard under a rock. the queen said that she had a dream that the night dropped a key outside the prison in the street so the rat got the key and they got all the way back to the Orchard and found the treasure there was water that was the treasure it made the trees live again. The end

Capacity.

 Me and My math group learnt about capacity. Capacity mean's maximum amount something can hold. The first activity I did was one of the bucket full of water activities but they are all different we use some cup's but only 3 people could do it because there wasn't enough containers and cups so Me and Aria C didn't do it. My group/buddies Aria C Anika C Carmen and Kora. Next We did another bucket full of water activity of course it was different this time I had a turn I don't remember it that well but I remember I got water on me but I enjoyed the activity. Next We did the sand racing activity it was my favourite one because it was a little challenging but fun.

This is a picture of me when I was jumping. I jumped pretty high then I turned around and jumped into the foam pit. I had so much fun jumping everywhere. there was these beams that we got to bounce on. This thing where we had to stretch our bodies and we also had to do handstands and cartwheels.

The bridle path walk.

                     

 Me and my class went to the bridle path because we wanted to see what it was like for the Europeans. It would be a little different for us because we didn't have to carry as much as them and we a better shoes are shoes are better because we don't have handmade shoes. At first I walk and climb with Olivia T we were looking at the big boat thing. Soon Niya and Sanchia decided that they wanted to they wanted to split up they wanted to split up. By the time Sanchia has caught up to Me I lost Olivia T I was properly thinking oh well. So Me and Sanchia were walking up the humongous Hill thing. Soon We stop for a break. When We reach the top We have morning tea and a chat. my favourite part was when We were slipping down the slippery sand  went we got back I think it was just after lunch

My Mum's new job.

 
                      

                 This is my mom's new job. It is called Rawhiti Golf Club bar. my mum serves drinks and food. My Mum said she had to deal with a few rude customers but she managed. My Mum makes $20 an hour. whenever I like I'm able to go to her work and get some food after school or in the weekend. My Mum's boss is her friend from when she's little I think.                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

The war.

2 weeks ago I was preparing for war today is the last day I can prepare until it is war I'm worried and scared to see what will happen. I have to test my gun shooting I didn't want to do this. I get to say bye to my family and friends before I go to war tomorrow. They are coming at me I have to run. a bullet almost hit my friend but he dodged it. Soon I found someone from the other side hurt on the ground scared and breathing in and and out it doesn't matter if  I win or not because all that matter is that I saved that man.

School lunches

 At School We have School lunch's. Our School lunch's are different all the time sometimes we have sandwiches sometimes We pizza bread and sometimes we have wraps and sometimes we have pasta and sometimes we have lasagna. Our School lunch's come in a cardboard plate/box plastic peel off. Never throughout the plastic lead and cardboard plate/box in the wrong bin because that bin you might have thrown in might get taken to some animals to eat because it's srap food and then they might choke on it. 

weighing packet's.

 First Me and My group for math choose a packet. Then We write down the weight that it said on the packet that we picked. When We were done writing down the weight of the packet. Then We put sand in to the packet to try match the weight of the packet. Then when We are done putting sand in the packet We weigh it. 

 I noticed that it is not so easy to try match the weight. You don't put so sand that it is at the top of the packet because the is going to be way to heavy to be the weight.

My Reflection Term 2

I'm proud of the v-hut I made with Olivia T. I am proud of My division and timetables. I am proud of My swimming.

 Some sports are challenging for me. Concentrating is pretty challenging. Spelling is challenging for me because I don't know how to  spell some most words.

I learnt about the 1850's-1860's and New Zealand history. I learnt about Kehu and Brunner. The V hut We made was a bet big but very detailed. We had a washing line with a washing basket. A fire pit. A little vegetable garden. we also added fake flax on the roof We made it out of cardboard paper and string rope. 

My inquiry

For our inquiry about belonging and NZ history, I have chosen to investigate V huts, Here is my research. 

         

Cooking was done outside because you don't want the v hut to set on fire. They appear not to have had chimneys. The buildings consisted of a thatched roof with doors and windows at one end. The v huts are for the poor people. Lady’s first. Kids were seen not heard . The Europeans were the first people to build the V hut.   

         

Making bread and butter in the 1860's way.

Me and my class made some bread and butter in the 1860's way. I loved making it with everyone. when I was shaking the jar with a little button to help mix it. After we took it out. The jar was a big tall jar with a little lid. I'm pretty sure it was made out of metal. Urmi didn't put enough salt  so she added some more salt. We had to shake  The jar hard as we passed around the circle. Some people got to shake it for 20 seconds and some people got shake the jar for 10. After we made the butter we made some bread. We put flour in a bowl. We put butter in the flour bowl. Eloise cutted the butter with a little knife. And everyone squeezed the butter until it is like play-doh. And then we tasted it I thought it was brilliant. And it was a bet messy. Urmi accidentally got some flour on Charlie's arm.

Today I learnt how to make graphs. I really enjoyed it.

The 3 rats.

One day there were three rats. Born on February 2012. Our names are Holley/ me, Shanara and Lilly. Yay. We live in a big but a tiny bit small house. But in 5 and 1/2 months we moved away to a bigger. House two story house  6 bedrooms we love the house but there was a little problem a little hole in the wall.
